If you are a "kalkiri" fan you must visit this place. You'll get the freshest products at their sales outlet. But you wouldn't get every single product of the company which is frustrating.

Very famous factory and they manufactured very famous and important products for sri Lankan economy. So very beautiful environment around this place. We buy some hilghland products form this shop and they are very fresh but in early days thsy give permission to visit this factory for visitors but in present we can’t visit this factory without any special permission form administration

It is a usual stop en route to World's End from Nuwara Eliya. You can try out ice cream, yoghurt & other Highland dairy products from this outlet. The factory is situated close to the milk bar, but you need prior permission to enter the factory premises.

We visited the factory in January 2025 with our family and had permission to see the factory premises (No proper idea about the prior permission, although due to long weekend factory allowed to visit to factory without prior permission). The ticket price for local visitors was Rs. 100.00, and at the end of the tour, they gave free yoghurt worth Rs. 80.00. The factory is on the way to Horton Plains from Nuwara Eliya. Visitors can also buy ice cream, yoghurt, and other Highland dairy products at the outlet. This factory produces 100% Sri Lankan natural milk products and is owned by the government
